My guy and I missed celebrating New Year’s. Or, should I say, we were tardy. Somehow we got distracted…OK, we were a bit drunk. Anyway, we finally noticed all the banging and loud noises outside, looked at the clock and discovered it was already 12:05. Oops. Is this an omen for 2011? Will I be out of synch for the coming year, a little off, just a bit behind?

Missing 12 o’clock on New Year’s Eve isn’t a big thing. I once missed New Year’s Day entirely (air travel) and things were no different: same movies, same food, same drooler at 3 o’clock.
