Sharpenings

Whew, made it to yoga last night.  I sweated and struggled.  That seems like a reoccurring theme these days.  Serves me right for letting my practice get so off track.  My body (mind?) doesn’t want to practice tonight, but I’m trying to cajole myself into going – should be an easy class, I need it, it will counteract the See’s candy bar I inhaled about two hours ago – the usual stuff.  I’m tired, but I should go.

Today was a good day.  I had my kitchen knives sharpened at Sur la Table.  Simple pleasures.  They are now ready for whatever this holiday season throws at them.  The guy behind the counter was supposed to charge me, but he sharpened them for free.  That man deserves some good culinary karma.    My next julienne will be dedicated to him.
